Reputably one of the most gentle soap bars in the world. Castile Soap originated in the Castile region of Spain where olives were prevalent.
This soap is very hard, long lasting, and when made in the traditional style like ours, contains only high quality olive oil as it’s final ingredient.
We age our Castile Soap a minimum of six months prior to sale, at which time is is purely luxurious, however you will find as time goes by, the soap improves in quality even more. Each of our Castile Soaps comes with it’s ‘date of birth’ listed on the packaging.
We have kept our Castile free from any scents to aid in the use of it for people who may have extremely delicate skin or who suffer from skin conditions.
Castile Soap has a velvety, lotion-like lather that moisturises while it cleans. It love copious amounts of water to increase bubbles and should be kept dry between uses to extend the life of the bar.
Made with olive oil, water*, sodium hydroxide*.

Minimum net weight 80g/2.8oz
Due to the handcrafted, small-batch nature of our soaps, product appearance may alter slightly between bars. We hand-cut our bars for our preferred rustic appearance, however we ensure each one fulfils it’s minimum weight requirement. To ensure your soap stays in optimum condition, we recommend storing them out of direct sunlight and away from moisture. When the time comes for you to use and enjoy your soap, we recommend not leaving them in a position where water may accumulate. To enjoy a longer-lasting soap we recommend using a Wooden Soap Dish to allow your soap to stay dry between uses.
Whilst soaps are ‘wash off’ products, thus considered safer to apply to skin than ‘leave on’ products, we would rather err on the side of caution when dealing with essential oil use. All our soaps contain below the regulatory minimum levels to maintain maximum safety whilst still having a prominent scent when being used. For oils listed as ‘avoid during’ or ‘use with caution’ please conduct your own research prior to use. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions page for more information.
